Have a question about the conference program? Ask it here.
Question: Has there been any discussion among the conference organizers of the possibility of a "HackFest" (a la Access or Code4Lib) to solicit possible project ideas from attendees, solicit volunteers and then show the hands-on creation of a couple of the projects in (more or less) real-time at an evening session? I see many of the pre-conferences are pretty focused on a specific topics, but it might be interesting to see someone put together an application on (insert Google maps creation or other mash-up or Zoho Creator or something more technical) right before the audience . I am sure you have enough on your plates already as organizers and this might tip you over the edge, but maybe next year. It would make a great podcast or Eyespot video.

Question: I see that Sarah Houghton is listed as a presenter for two sessions on Monday, October 23rd: Cultivating Tech-Savvy Library Staff and Reaching Patrons. Both are listed as 1:15-2:00 pm sessions. Is there any update about what is happening with these sessions? Is one being canceled?
Answer: Sarah Houghton-Jan here (new married name)...the organizers screwed up the original schedule, but if you look at the current version (which has been up for some weeks now), it shows me as presenting two sessions on Monday still, but not at the same time.
