Conference Wifi Issues

*If you can access the wifi signal, but aren't getting the Deep Blue Wireless login page, try the following (and spread the word for those that can't access this page!!!):

(Windows XP): Start --> Control Panel --> Network Connections --> Right-click your wifi connection and click Properties --> Scroll down to Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and double-click.

Use the following IP:

IP: 172.20.100.125

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

Default Gateway: 172.20.100.1

Preferred DNS server: 172.20.100.1

Now click ok and try again. If that doesn't work, play around with the last part of the IP address until you get one that works. No two computers on the network can have the exact same IP address. Yours should start 172.20.100. and end with a number between 2 and 255 (inclusive).

Don't know the username and password? Ask your fellow Internet Librarians!!!

  • Monterey State Historic Park now offers SBC FreedomLink Service!

This service enables park visitors with wireless enabled laptop computers or personal digital assistants (PDAs) to access the Internet. You can access this service if you are within a 150 foot range of the Main Office located in the Park.
